Challenge 1. The children were playing the song 'Jingle Bells' on the boomwhackers.

Challenge 3. Boomwhackers make sound through air column resonance: when you strike a hollow plastic tube, it vibrates, causing the air inside to resonate at a specific frequency, producing a musical tone, with longer tubes creating lower notes and shorter tubes producing higher notes, all tuned by their length and color-coded for easy identification.
