Boomwhackers make waves and waves are sounds. That is how they work.

C1: Percussion.

C2: If you want a louder sound you hit it on your hand harder and if you want a quiet sound you hit it on your hand softer.

C3: Each boomwhacker is a different note like C,D,E,F,G,A,B,c.

Bonus question: When you hit a boomwhacker against your hand the air inside it vibrates which is how the sound is produced.

2. Maybe hit it harder for a loud note.

3. The pitch is changed by the size of the boomwhackers.

Bonus  The sound is created by the air bouncing off the side as you hit the boomwhacker. It is to do with sound waves.

I think the boom whackers are made by sound waves as well and well done to swallow.
