Challenge:

Challenge 1: What song were the children playing on the boomwhackers?

Challenge 2: Each colour boomwhacker makes a different sound. How many different boomwhackers are there?

Challenge 3: What difference is made if the boomwhacker is hit hard or softly?

Comments

Challenge 1. The children were playiing 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' on the boomwhackers.

Challenge 2. There isn't a single "number" of Boomwhackers, but rather different pitch sets (Diatonic, Pentatonic, Chromatic, Bass versions) and kit combinations, with core sets usually containing 6 to 8 tubes, while full collections can reach 32 tubes, all color-coded for specific notes, plus optional Octavator Caps to change pitch.

Challenge 3. The harder a boomwhacker is hit the louder the sound. The softer a boomwhacker is hit the quieter the sound.
